The RCAAQ asks the government to grant stable, recurring funding in full recognition of the Centres\u2019 key role in meeting the health, justice and education needs of Indigenous people in urban areas. The paper also emphasizes the importance of long-term investments in supporting the continuity and development of culturally safe health and wellness services, enhancing accompaniment in the justice system and ensuring the full implementation of the Native Friendship Centre Movement\u2019s Education Strategy. Such support will contribute to building a more equitable and inclusive society.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n
