Bill\u00a037 must be amended to reflect the realities of urban Indigenous children. It is imperative that First Nations members and Inuit be consulted, that the appointment of the associated Indigenous commissioner be independent and representative, and that complaint and monitoring mechanisms include Indigenous cultural norms.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n
