Summary

This overview highlights the persistent over-representation of Indigenous people in Quebec’s judicial system and the limitations of current data for understanding the realities of Indigenous people living in urban areas. It presents the issues observed in the field, the solutions put forth by those consulted and exemplary initiatives that better meet the needs of urban Indigenous populations.
