Val-d’Or Native Friendship Centre

Val-d’Or is a meeting place for First Nations who are passing through or putting down roots. For generations, it has attracted Indigenous individuals and families from a wide range of communities, who seek services, care, education or a fresh start. Located close to several Algonquin communities, Vald-d’Or is also a major stopover point for Indigenous people from northern areas of Quebec.
