The Centre d’amitié autochtone de Lanaudière announces the launch of its major fundraising campaign to build a new multi-service centre.
The Centre d’amitié autochtone de Lanaudière is initiating a major campaign to build a new multi-service facility in Joliette, offering essential services such as temporary housing, a local clinic, a cultural centre, and affordable housing to meet the growing needs of the local Indigenous population. Named Mamo Maniketan (“Let’s build together” in Atikamekw), the campaign aims to raise $3 million. This ambitious project will create an inclusive and culturally safe space for over 900 members annually.
