The Centre d’amitié autochtone de Manicouagan was officially inaugurated nearly a year after it began operating. This hub of essential services provides a culturally safe environment for Indigenous people in the region, whether they are residents or just passing through. Since its opening, the Centre has expanded its offerings in health, education, culture, and social services, while promoting dialogue between Indigenous and non-Indigenous communities. It stands out as a place of connection, support, and reconciliation between peoples.
